RIVERVIEW SWIMMING
One of the more popular attractions at Riverview in it's very early days was the Swimming. Offering a sand beach and filtered water and a Bath house for quick clothes changes, patrons of the park could enjoy the parks rides and attractions and then spend time refreshing and frolicking in the coolwaters.
The Riverview Swimming Pool and Bathhouse was one of the original features since the initial opening of the park and enjoyed continued popularity season after season until Birdland Munincipal Swimming Pool opened just blocks away in the 1930's
This is a view of the beach and Bath House with the Coaster in the background. The Bath House later became the Mirror Maze building most today remember.
