The I.Q. Zoo with performing animals in coin operated displays. This replaced four large cages where for years various animals were on display including bears, cougars, monkeys, etc.. The following pictures are from Animal Behavior promotional media and not the actual Riverview critters.
Piano Playing Duck - After a guest inserted a coin the duck would waddle up to a little piano and pound out a tune with his beak and then be rewarded with food from a dispenser
Basketball Chicken - This smart chicken would peck at a ping pong ball floating on a jet of air and knock it into a basket 2 times for his reward.
The Dancing Chicken - This popular chicken would scratch out a little dance to some background honkey tonk piano music. She was by far the most popular and brought the most giggles and smiles to all ages.

These animals were leased from a company called Animal Behavior in Arkansas which was/is very well known in the world of animal psychology and trained responsive behavior. There were usually one if not two back up animals for each display in order to rotate the animals and give them regular rest periods. Other performing animals included but not pictured were a Drumming Duck, a Tic-Tac-Toe Chicken, and a Fire Chief Rabbit.
