This was always a favorite. When you hit it, the bear would raise up and growl, then reverse and go the other way. A Marksman could keep it spinning with continues hits on the bullseye.
I still can still picture the little row of lights tracing your torpedoes path. Timing was the secret.
Again, hand/eye coordination and timing would whack the ball up the middle to the homerun slot.
We all created a disk with our boyfriends or girlfriends name..didn't we?
And everyone would spend their pennies to get a license to be whatever card, a movie stars picture card, our favorite western heroes card, and, of course, young lads with raging hormones would always manage to secret out a card or two of a bathing beauty or scantily clad starlet.
These penny machines were a must to test your appeal to the opposite sex. And naturally more fun with an audience watching your results.
Before leaving the arcade it was necessary to get your fortune told.
And then to the Picture/Photo Making Booth to draw the curtain and either look as silly or as serious as possible for the camera before leaving
